In case you missed it last year, Automated Trader's 2010 Algorithmic Trading Survey had a number of significant impacts. As well as providing valuable insights and the opportunity for Automated Trader's readers to benchmark their trading activity, the 2010 survey also caught the attention of a number of industry experts, market commentators, central banks, regulatory bodies and government sponsored working groups. Amongst those referencing the survey, the Dutch regulator the AFM referenced the survey a number of times in their report on high frequency trading. Similarly, the Bank of England's Director for Financial Stability, Andrew Haldane, referenced some data from the survey in the material accompanying his recent "Race to Zero" speech.
